The Sauvage team brings together a diverse combination of skills. We've been leading importers, retailers and restauranteurs for more than two decades. Over that time we've introduced many of Burgundies top domaine's to the Alberta market. As a small team, we foster close relationships with our suppliers. We believe in regular visits to taste, exchange ideas and ensure we understand the values of our partners in order to best represent their needs. 

 Our mission at Sauvage is to find wines that deliver character, authenticity and value. We focus on sourcing small, family-run wineries primarily from the Old World; Burgundy was our first love and continues to be at the heart of our offerings. However we are always on the hunt for soulful wines from dedicated producers  anywhere great wine is made. We have  partners that we've worked with for many years, but we also  love to meet passionate young winemakers and help them to thrive in Alberta.

As the only privately run province in Canada, Alberta is an exciting and vibrant market. Sourcing great wine is only the beginning - we ensure that  our wines are placed in the top restaurants, hotels and wine shops where they will receive the  care and attention they deserve. We understand that the world of wine has changed dramatically over the last two decades. Today it is more important that ever to work with like-minded partners who share our values for fairness and transparency.  As many of our wines are limited in nature, it's vital that we make them available to wine lovers throughout Alberta.
